UXOK is a design conference that focuses on user experience and related tech that make the web accessible, delightful, and functional.

UXOK is organized and backed by the Techlahoma Foundation – a volunteer-run 501(c)3 non-profit. Techlahoma is dedicated to advancing Oklahomans through accessible tech training and community building.

FAQs

  • Where is the conference?

    We are at the Tulsa Central Library in the Pocahontas Greadington Learning and Creativity Center (Lower Level 2).

  • I’m new to UX. Is this conference for me?

    Absolutely. Our conference covers subjects for all UX knowledge levels.

  • Will I have a chance to network with other attendees?

    Yes! After the conference, we host an optional after-party for attendees to meet up.

  • What airport should I use if flying in for the conference?

    Tulsa International Airport (TUL) is our airport.

  • Once I'm in Tulsa, how should I get around?

    Uber & Lyft are both available in Tulsa. We also have scooters from Bird and Lime and bicycles are available from This Machine bike share.

  • What about hotels?

    Stay at the Aloft Tulsa Downtown for a group rate! Prefer another place? Stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa Downtown, orthe iconic Tulsa Mayo Hotel, which are all very close to our venue.

  • Where should I park for the event?

    We recommend parking in the Central Library parking garage, however there are many other public lots close by.

  • Will food be provided during the conference?

    We will provide coffee, snacks, and drinks thru-out the day, and lunch including vegan and gluten-free options (please mark any restrictions on your ticket registration form).

  • What's the difference in tickets?

    The corporate ticket is if your company is paying for attendance to the conference. You will help keep the conference affordable for everyone, especially students and those requiring a travel grant. Government employees should also register at the corporate rate. The general admission ticket is for individual attendees or non-profit/military/education attendees.
